WW1 Silver war badge with a horizontal pin Numbered 170799 to the reverse As issued to- 20-1217.PTE.R.BAINBRIDGE.NORTH'D.FUS Richard Bainbridge was one of the original members of the 20th service battalion of the Northumberland Fusiliers / 1st Tyneside Scottish. He enlisted 13-1-15 & was discharged due to sickness 8-7-1915 having never served overseas. As such this silver war badge is his sole entitlement for his service in WW1.
