WW1 1914-15 Trio To- F.6891.A.G.ROPER.AM.1.RNAS (1914-15 Star) & 206891.SGT.A.G.ROPER.R.A.F (WW1 Pair) Alfred George Roper was born in Leytonstone, London 11-10-1889 & was working as a carpenter when he enlisted in to the RNAS 26-7-1915.He served onboard the aircraft carrier HMS Campania 8-8-15 to 8-2-16 & was transferred to the RAF on its formation in April of 1918 and went on to serve with the RAF in Egypt from 17-6-18 to 5-4-1919 & finally left the service 3-4-1920.
