WW1 1914-15 TRIO, 11th ROYAL SCOTS, KILLED IN ACTION FRANCE & FLANDERS 27-1-1917

WW1 1914-15 Trio To- 20911.PTE.A.METHVEN.R.SCOTS. Alexander Methven first landed in France 29-6-1915 serving with the 11th service battalion of the Royal Scots. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 27-1-1917 & is buried in the Faubourg D'Amiens cemetery at Arras. He was born in Forfar & enlisted in Glasgow whilst living in Newton Merans, Renfrewshire. NEF & Complete with MIC details along with details from both SDGW & the CWGC
