WW1 1914 MONS STAR TRIO, 11th HUSSARS, KILLED IN ACTION, FRANCE & FLANDERS 24-5-1915

WW1 1914 Trio To- 5867.PTE.L.G.EDMONDS.11th.HUSSARS Leonard.G.J.Edmunds was born & enlisted in North Cadbury, Bath & first landed in France 9-9-1914 serving with the 11th Hussars. He was sadly killed in action & France & Flanders 24-5-1915 age 29 & having no known grave he is commemorated on the Menin Gate at Ypres. He is recorded by the C.W.G.C as the late son of Joseph.N & Sarah Edmunds of North Cadbury, Bath.
