GVIR 1st type GSM 1918-1962 with Palestine clasp To- 359722.PTE.H.BARROW.BORD.R The recipient was wounded with the B.E.F whilst serving in France with the 1st battalion on a unrecorded date some time prior to the fall of France / the Dunkirk evacuation EF & complete with medal roll & casualty roll details. Please note the recipients service number is actually 3597222 as recorded on both rolls. However the last digit of the recipients service number has been missed off the medal when it was impressed at the Royal Mint.
