GVR 1st type WW1 Military Medal (MM) & 1914-15 Trio To- S-10434.PTE.C.HAGGERTY.1/GORD.HIGHRS Cornelius Haggerty first landed in France 2-11-1915 serving with the 10th service battalion of the Gordon Highlanders and was awarded the Military Medal (MM) for services in France whilst serving with the 1st battalion.This was published in the London gazette dated 14-5-1919 & stated that the recipient was a resident of Glasgow. He was discharged to the class Z army reserve 15-5-1919 GVF or better & complete with MIC & medal roll details along with London gazette details.
