WW1 1914 MONS STAR TRIO, 1/10th LIVERPOOL.R / LIVERPOOL SCOTTISH

WW1 1914 Trio To- 2649.PTE.A.SMITH.10/L.POOL.R Albert Smith was a member of the 1/10th battalion of the Liverpool Regiment / Liverpool Scottish & he first landed overseas 1-11-1914. He was admitted to hospital due to frost 17-12-1914 & returned to the UK 28-12-1914. He did not return to France until February 1917 when he was sent to France as a musketry instructor with the 2/10th battalion.He was sadly admitted to hospital in the UK in February 1918 due to shell shock & was given a medical discharge in 1919.
