GVR 1st type WW1 Military Medal (MM) & Pair To- 12792.SJT.T.HEAL.236/COY.M.G.C Thomas Heal from Eastwood St Mary in Derbyshire was awarded the Military Medal (MM) for services in France in the London Gazette 28-1-1918 & the unit war diary states that this was an award for the battle of Langermarck / Ypres between August & October 1917.He was discharged to the class Z army reserve 5-2-19 & returned to Eastwood St Mary near Heanor NEF & Complete with MIC & medal roll details along with other basic research including copy unit war diary extracts & basic biographical details.
