WW2 Canadian Fire Association or First Aid Helmet - GSW DP&H

WW2 Canadian GSW DP&H produced helmet (mild steel for the Air Raid Precautions branch - not a combat helmet). I'm not sure if this helmet was worn in this configuration during the war or perhaps later during the 1950's. Not a common helmet in any case. Just the shell as it is missing the liner and chinstrap.
