1950's RCA Fireman's Fiber Helmet

This one is rather unusual and new to me. I'd say 1950's vintage being made of fiber and painted red for fire department. Bears a stenciled RCA (Royal Canadian Artillery) mark to the font. Plastic liner with no chinstrap (Can't see where one ever was attached?).
