Description
Original era manufacture. Black painted metal case, with a glass dial at front, and below an adjusting knob. On the top of the case is a painted nomenclature plate with a Navy anchor. Normal age and wear, the dial does not move, nor does the adjusting knob. Instruments of this type were could be found on the following IJN aircraft; Nakajima J1N1 'Irving', Yokosuka P1Y 'Frances', Nakajima C6N 'Myrt', Nakajima G8N 'Rita', Nakajima G5N 'Liz' and the experimental, sub-carried, single engine float plane Aichi M6A Seiran (Clear Sky Storm). Which was developed late in WWII for planned attacks on the United States.
