Third Reich K98 Bayonet- Coppel

Near mint K98 in “Cavalry” style frog. Crossguard, pommel and backstrap in near perfect condition with all finish remaining. Backstrap has a “knurled” finish. Operating mortice button with red felt in the slot. Bakelite grips have countersunk screws and nuts. Mear mint blade retains 95% of its factory bluing and has only the most minimal signs of sharpening. Matching numbers stamped to obverse ricasso and adjacent scabbard upper. Upper spine dated 1939, reverse ricasso “ Coppel G.m.b.H.” Undented scabbard retains all its anodising and has a waffenampt to the ball. Frog is quality leather with complete stitching and an undamaged grip strap. Wrapped about the frog is a period NCO Troddel in near perfect condition.
