12 leaf pommel in good condition with no damage to circumference and with crisp details to the oak leaf decoration. Orange/yellow grip has no chips but would benefit from a clean. Crossguard eagle has excellent detailing to the wing and breast feathering and to the talons which grip the wreath with mobile swastica. Blade washer remains in place beneath the crossguard. Blade grades near mint having no damage, a needle point tip and full crossgrain. Scabbard has no dents and crisp stippling to the panels. A single side mounted screw secures the scabbard throat. Scabbard bands are securely fixed and have excellent details to the oak leaf depictions. Completing the dagger are a set of straps in fine condition. Lower fittings are the de luxe push up type, buckles are “Asmann” marked. Interesting to note that these straps were once worn very short judging by the additional holes and marks on the tress fronts!
