Third Reich K98 Bayonet-Heller

Operating Mortice push button, waffenampt marks to pommel and backstrap. Bakelite grips properly fixed with countersunk screws and nuts. Excellent blade with no damage and most finish remaining. Marked with the number “40” to the upper spine and “876” to the obverse ricasso. Matching number to the upper obverse scabbard. Reverse of blade marked “GEBRUDER. HELLER”. Green canvas “tropical” frog in excellent condition with some ink markings to the reverse. Frog is wrapped with a period NCO portepee in near mint condition. Some minor dents to the scabbard which retains much of its anodised finish.
