Japanese Sword-Miniature

Approximately twelve inches long, this miniature has a hilt which is wrapped in red strapping through which the grip decoration may be seen. Ferrrule and crossguard have floral decoration as does the upper scabbard mount. Scabbard itself appears to be of black lacquered wood and has twin suspension bands to which a decorative rope is attached. Bright blade is needle sharp and is void of makers mark.
