All mirror bright finish remaining to the pommel, backstrap and short crossguard without quillions, denoting this as a so called ' pioneer' example. Operating push button without felt in the rifle slot. Perfect chequered grips are correctly attached with domed rivets, and a brown leather washer remains beneath the crossguard. Bright blade has no damage and minor loss of finish only adjacent to the tip. The Emil Voos maker mark is stamped to the reverse ricasso. Scabbard has one small dent and some loss of black finish.
