Superb plating to pommel, backstrap and cross-guard, with none of the usual 'hammer' marks or other signs of misuse. Perfect chequered grips secured by domed headed rivets. Superb plating to the blade with exceptional definition to the 'teeth' on the sawback which are extremely sharp. Obverse ricasso has the prancing tiger heavily stamped, whilst the reverse ricasso is stamped 'Tiger Solingen'Scabbard has no dents and retains all its original finish to the obverse, with minor paint loss to the reverse.An excellent example of the short, NCO fire protection police bayonet.
