Third Reich Dress Bayonet-Spitzer

Without doubt the firm of Gustav Spitzer made a quality dagger, particularly RLB types which are highly sought after. This long dress bayonet is no exception, having excellent plating to pommel backstrap and crossguard. Black chequered grip is perfect and retained by two domed rivets. Blade is also heavily plated and in fine condition having only two small areas of loss. The 'prancing lion' Spitzer motto is stamped heavily to the ricasso.Scabbard is an anodised type having near perfect finish. Fine example from a first class manufacturer.
