Third Reich Army Officers Dagger-Personalised Eickhorn

This quality Eickhorn dagger has the benefit of a superb engraving on the reverse crossguard, being the surname “KLINGER” No damage and much hand enhancement to the 12 leaf pommel. Fine orange grip has one small crack in the reverse pommel area. Crossguard is in excellent condition with superb detailing to the eagles wing and chest feathering. Bright blade has no damage to the edges, a needle point tip and very few signs of age to the finish. The Eickhorn 35-41 trademark is placed on the upper reverse ricasso. Scabbard has fine stippling to the panels, with nice age toning and minor loss of finish overall. Domed headed throat screws are present and appear unturned. Scabbard bands and rings are securely in place, with some loss of definition to the lower fitting. Overall a fine example of a personalised dagger with the possibility of further research.
