Bulgarian Army Officers Dagger

This standard third reich period dagger has been period (?) modified by the addition of wreathed swastica's to the grip and swastica stampings to the quillions. Grip has been painted black, as has the scabbard. Centre scabbard band has also been stamped 'DRP 1941'. Upper scabbard fitting has an eagle with inset swastica mounted centrally to the reverse. Plain bright blade has a central fuller and is in near mint condition. A blade washer remains beneath the crossguard. An interesting modified Axis dagger which should interest the collector who can see beyond 'text book'
