SS Damascus Paper Knife-Krusius

An absolutely beautiful knife believed to have been a gift to an SS leader, manufactured by a lesser known Solingen manufacturer, active in the town from 1887 until the 1980s. Fluted black grip has delicate filigree decoration while the pommel and crossguard appear to be hammered silver. Blade has a needle point tipAnd a stunning pattern, the manufacturer name in raised gold lettering to the obverse, with 'Echt Damast' raised in gold to the obverse.Complete with a custom scabbard of indeterminate age.A spectacular item.
