German ww2 Belt Loop/Extension Piece

This black leather 'Double D' loop would have been used on the belt as an attachment to the cross strap combined with a dagger suspension loop, or could have been used to extend the reach of a suspension device. Excellent leather with stitched-in steel loops, riveted for extra support at the lower end.
