Leather Sword Hanger

Probably of late war construction, this fine teardrop shaped hanger appears to be made from a stippled leather, possibly pig skin. Some nine inches in overall length it is of the type which offers fitment to various belt widths by virtue of an adjustable dome headed 'rivet'. Top box type fitting with some loss of finish, bottom bright plated spring clip working correctly with most of its finish intact.
