Very rare accessory designed to fit the bipod attachment for the iconic MG 42 machine gun. Heavy wooden base with hinged metal covering, this cover incorporates spikes for securing the stand to the ground and holes for bipod fitment. In excellent condition and complete with leather securing strap.
