Third Reich Shooting award

This most unusual and attractive shooting award appears to be of bronze and is quite heavy. Some five inches in diameter,the award was clearly given by the shooting organisation in Westfalen for a shooting competition in this gau, as the horse motif on the obverse of the medal forms part of the coat of arms for Westfalia, as confirmeb by the presentation inscription on the reverse. Details of the winner of this prize appear in a raised area of the reverse, but most of this information is now unreadable. A fascinating piece worthy of further research
