Third Reich kriegsmarine /water protection Short Dagger Suspension

What appears to be a period modified navy dagger suspension system. Upper box clip is magnetic, having a pair of black moire straps sewn in. Lower hanger ends have push-in spring clips and slides attached. Both straps in excellent matching condition with high pile black velvet to the rear.Longer strap is some seven inches in overall length.
