Description
Original era manufacture. This is a first for us, an unusual measuring & sighting device made by Keuffel & Esser Co. of New York. Black finished alloy casing measuring 3 inches in width, with a triangular shaped glass aperture for viewing the magnetic dial. There is a flip-up site, and a flip-up eye piece with a tiny lens for viewing the compass degrees.Original leather belt case which is 1905 dated and US Engineer Department marked. Appears to work just fine, normal age and wear.
