US WWII Souvenir Ring, Algeria 1943, 3rd Division Veteran Souvenir

Original period manufacture. Algerian made, silver mans ring with a 20 mm finger opening. Carved into the top is MOSTAGANEM, and on one side AFRICA and the opposite 1943. Shows age and wear. Original WWII German souvenirs brought home by a US Army 3rdInfantry Division veteran Mr. Robert Gelhoff of Wisconsin. These items were obtained by Mr. Gelhoff during his service in WWII. He served with the 3rdDivision throughout WWII, seeing combat in North Africa, Sicily, Anzio, Southern France and Germany.
