Third Reich Luftwaffe sword Leather Hanger/Belt Loop

A very unusual adjustable tear drop hanger, which incorporates an aluminium pebbled 'D' ring on a wide leather belt loop. Lower push in clip is also pebbled alluminium and functions perfectly. This type of hanger was worn extensively with the early first model Luftwaffe flyers dagger, but today is a rare survivor. Some loss of stitching which has allowed the front and rear dark blue leather faces to begin to separate, but otherwise in good worn condition.
