British Union of Fascists Membership Badge

A rare second pattern badge dating from the early '20's, having a perfectly operating period pin back with the words ' registration applied for' and 'Gaunt London' raised from the reverse. Perfect enamelling and silver plating to the obverse, spelling the slogan 'For King And Country' and the initial 'F' for fascist. Worn by members of Mosleys fascist party both before and during the Second World War. A chilling reminder of how different history could have turned out.
