3rd Pattern B.U.F. Membership Badge

A scarce original pre-1934 British Fascists membership badge. This is a silver plated example inlaid with black enamelling, depicting the rose pattern with cross; the reverse with maker's details 'Birmingham Medal Co' and impressed with official issue number '19482'. Very good condition, retaining the correct vertical tube joint pin fitting and rounded catch for this pattern, enamel intact, silver plating toned with minor service wear. Diameter 25mm.
