Vintage Padlock in Packaging

Although this is a very simple item, a two inch padlock with two keys, what makes it of interest to the 3rd Reich Collector is the original packing bag containing the lock. It appears to be similar in consistency to the bags we see for 2nd class iron crosses etc. and is ink stamped with a highly detailed eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed swastica in its talons. Beneath this are the words ' Spindschloss nach Vorschrift' or regulation padlock. An interesting item which would have had hundreds of applications during the period.
