Spanish 'Blue-Division' Commemorative Medal

Spanish 'Blue-Division' Commemorative Medal (Erinnerungsmedaille für die spanischen Freiwilligen im Kampf gegen den Bolschewismus). This was a Commemorative Medal for Spanish Volunteers in the Struggle against Bolshevism, it was instituted on 3 January 1944 and was awarded to Spanish volunteers of the 'Blue Division' who served in the Russian front. The zinc type medal is nicely maker marked with number '1' indicating production by the company of 'Deschler & Sohn' from München. The medal is complete with its original 14cms long sized ribbon. Nice original medal in good condition!
