EARLY SA DAGGER BY GUSTAV SPITZER.

Description

RE-LISTED DUE TO COMPLETE TIME WASTER! Not a very common maker on SA daggers and is rated about 7/10 on the rariety scale. An early SA with all solid nickel fittings to the crossguards and scabbard fittings. A very nice mid-brown coloured hardwood grip with nickel eagle and SA button. No damage to the grip. Brown scabbard has an original and unusual finish to it, one that I have had before. Has a semi-textured finish, but has obviously been there a very long time due to the wear and condition of the surface. Interesting. Blade is nice and clean with much crossgrain polish remaining. Good motto colour and the Gustav Spitzer circular trademark with a lion inside it, etched to the reverse riccasso. Lower crossguard is stamped with the Gau 'No'
