A MINIATURE HUNTING CUTLASS BY ALCOSO.

Alcoso made the best and most desirable Third Reich miniature daggers. All are approximately 8-9” long, although the RAD officer is slightly shorter. The detail on each piece is absolutely amazing and looked at out of context, could easily be the full sized pieces! This is their De-Luxe Hunting Association miniature and is identical to their very rare full sized piece. Nickel silver plated hardware, real stag grip perfectly cut to size. Clamshell with reclining stag and embossed de-luxe scabbard lower chape showing a standing stag with full antlers! The scabbard leather is deep pebbled green. Blade has the Alcoso trademark on the riccasso under the clamshell. The blade is also deeply etched each side with forestry scenes and animals. Amazing detail!! A small part of the lower reverse blade seems to have been affected by moisture at some time so the etched detail for about 1/2” is a little blurred, other than that this is a near mint piece.
