RARE LONGER KNOT FOR THIRD REICH NAVAL SWORD.

It is not common knowledge thst the portapee or knots made for the Third Reich naval daggers were also made in a longer size to be tied to the hilts of navy officers swords. There is a very complicated pattern used on navy swords. Multiple intertwined ties around the hilt and grip. The normal 42cm knot is too short to do this, so they made a slightly longer one which is about 46cm long. This is one of those and if you have a naval sword without the parade knot, here is the variety thst will fit!! This one is made in cream rayon and seems to have been on a sword or dagger at some time, but is otherwise in near mint condition. A rare accessory.
