ORIGINAL TENO MANS DAGGER WITH FROG 'BARGAIN PRICED'.

I am pleased to offer this original dagger on consignment from an old friend. A complete TENO mans dagger WITH its original frog and clip. He has had this dagger for many years and purchased it from a house clearance. It is NOT in mint condition, and the price reflects this, but it is totally original and virtually half the price of any others I have seen. Most of the silver plating has gone from the hilt and crossguard, but the metal underneath is in great condition with no oxidising or damage. The scabbard retains ALL of the original black paint, but shows a lot of spotting from old surface rust (all removed). The nickel plated upper and lower scabbard fittings again show a little age, but look very good. The rare TENO leather frog/hanger is attached to the scabbard loop. Again it is actually in very good shape and the retaining thin strap is still there, a little fragile, but present. The short part with the aluminium stud is also present. The strap is broken at the very tip. The blade is bright and clean. A huge bowie style blade, like the RAD daggers. There is a SMALL part at the very tip which has some minor surface pitting. REST of the blade is fine. The obverse carries the Eickhorn trademark as well as the TENO eagle etched into the surface. All TENO daggers are numbered on the blade and a corresponding one on the scabbard throat. This one is 0770. A very low number actually. Overall this is a great display piece, and totally original. Where can you find another for this super price?
