THIRD REICH SWORD KNOT FOR FIRE OFFICERS SWORD.

Black leather strapped sword knot with 3 lines of silver wire running the length. Silver acorn and stem, but the bottom insert is red/pink. I have had these tied to ordinary officers swords, but I am pretty sure this was designed to go with a sidearm carried by a Fire Officer. Evidence of the knot being worn but it's in near mint condition apart from where the leather strap would tie around the sword hilt. A few strands of silver wire are missing here.
