Pre WW1 Rifleman Telescope & Stand

A pre-WW1 target shooter's 'The Rifleman' two-draw telescope by J.H. Steward Ltd, together with its original and rare, wooden oak stand by Alfred Parker, all fully marked and stamped, 'The Firma'. The tripod is in excellent condition, having articulated legs with the rear brass support being adjustable for height. Generally untouched, overall the set is in very good condition with some signs of careful use. The optics are clear and undamaged, being free of fungus or other significant defect - just some loose stitching to the detachable leather lens cover. A very useable vintage outfit that would be difficult to improve upon. Approximately 25x power.
