WW1 Military Dennison Watch Compass c.1916

This a very good example of a WW1 military issue compass, made by Dennison and dated to 1916. It has a lovely age patina and the lid is firm on its hinge, securely closing with a snap. Presented in working order, this compass is of the early non-luminous type having the NSEW card showing the half-night and half-daylight configuration.
