WW1 GERMAN PRUSSIAN CUIRASSIERS (LOBSTER TAIL) PICKELHAUBE

Model 1894 Cuirassiers (Known as a 'Lobster Tail') Pickelhaube made by A. Klucke & Cie. Prussian helmet for an officer of the line cuirassier regiments. Helmet bell made of nickel-plated sheet iron, complete with all gold-plated fittings excepting one rivet (refer photo). Large fire-gilded helmet eagle in a special version for the cuirassiers. Arched scale chains with clovers and knurled screws, complete with both cockades. Gilded cross blade with ball screws, the neck with the cross-shaped ventilation slots, high grooved and nickel-plated tip. Inside with front peak with green lacquered leather. The interior of the helmet condition is as noted in the photo's.
