NEW ZEALAND Boer War “7/NZMR' Large Hand Cut Brass Badge A scarce New Zealand Boer War 7th Contingent hand cut brass badge. Most likely worn on the hat, but also used as shoulder title. There is a lot of Verdigris around the large brass loops, and one is bent over around 45 degrees. This came out of an old NZ collection that had many Boer War period items. Some I have cleaned as they were so grubby, most have had a moderate clean to make them presentable, but still quite stained on the back.
