BRITISH / NEW ZEALAND Set Circa 1900 Brass Army Chaplains Badges (voided Maltese Cross) Hard to find matched sets of these Pre-WW1 Chaplain's badges. This set is the usual hand cut brass (without Crowns). They have brass loops on the back. Thickness of brass is approx. 0.8mm. These appear to have been originally blackened. Most of this now absent. Could be re-blackened or cleaned up properly. They came out of an old NZ collection that had many Boer War period items. Some I have cleaned as they were so grubby, most have had a moderate clean to make them presentable, but still quite stained.
