Wehrmacht Tropical Equipment Belt Loop D-Ring (Aufschiebeschlaufe). This piece of equipment could be worn in lieu of ammunition pouches to attach the belt supporting straps. It could also be worn upside down to attach a canteen etc. The belt loop is constructed from tan coloured webbing, it is not visible maker marked or dated.
