Japanese Order of the Rising Sun, 5th Class, Cased

Original era manufacture. A beautiful silver medal with lovely enameling on both sides of the planchet, and Pawlonia leaf suspension. Overall the medal exhibits normal age and wear, with minor enamel flaking on the end of the top center ray, and minor soiling to the ribbon. Wear to the plush velvet lining of the case, with surface flaking on both sides of the case lid as shown.
