Description

Very early pair of conjoined red and white roses in linen ? with waxed paper leaves. These were worn by a soldier of the Hampshire Regiment to commemorate the battle of Minden on 1st. August 1759. This Occasion is still celebrated to this day by the Regiments involved and their successors. { Slightly flattened as removed from a frame of Hampshire items.}
