Scarce silver / gilt Queen's crown mess dress rank insignia badge with original brooch pin fitting to the reverse. Worn by a senior officer of the Princess Mary's Royal Air Force Nursing Service. Entwined snakes surmounted by a pair of wings and the crown mounted upon an oval with three bars to the centre.
