Scarce WW II embroidered example of the small golden yellow maple leaf on a scarlet backing worn by 142 Field Regiment Royal Artillery. Awarded to the Regiment by the Canadian Corps Commander for the support the Regiment gave them in Sicily and at Cassino the right to wear the Maple Leaf.
