Description

Group of items to the Lancashire Militia. Officers silvered cross-belt plate with four screw bolts to the reverse. The roman numeral ' VII ' between the strings of a bugle horn to the centre of a circlet bearing the title, ' Lancashire Rifles ' on a decorated maltese cross. A separate victorian crown to be worn above the plate and a Lancashire Rose that was placed over the centre of the plate when the unit became ' Royal Lancashire Militia ' loosing its designated number. Also included is a victorian photograph of an officer wearing the cross-belt. { Named to the reverse }
