Austrian WWI Signum Laudis Medal & Swords, Emperor Karl, Post 1916

Original era manufacture. A solid example in bronze gilt with its original war era ribbon which has crossed swords affixed to it. Normal age and wear. Karl the 1st of Austria came to the throne in late 1916 after the death of Franz-Joseph. He became the last Emperor of the Austo-Hungarian Empire. He died at age 34 from pneumonia.
